The site “Am I hot or not” was founded by James Hong and Jim Young. The two friends created this site from a disagreement over a woman's attractiveness.

They sold it for $20 million dollars. - From Wikipedia.

Sex sells.

When I worked in Investment banking, I was exposed to many inappropriate videos, photos (girls and horses), and websites in the 1990s and 2000s.

Boys will be boys.

Somehow along my journey - from investment banking, to Harvard Business School, to working at hedge funds, I thought life would be so much easier if I were hot.

But then it occurred to me...

If you are hot, your beauty depreciates,

but your wealth, now that is an asset that appreciates.

(This observation came from a very dear wise, and witty friend)

If you want your daughter to understand the importance of:

- investing, and

- staying in the game when it comes to her career, so that she can have more freedom.

Because she nor you will never know when she will need her own money.

(another wise friend called it F- you money).

So she has the financial freedom to walk away from a bad marriage or a bad job.
