At Wealth Engagement LLC, we understand that privacy is an important concern of our customers.  The nature of our business requires that we collect nonpublic personal information about you.  Nonpublic personal information is personally identifiable financial information including, for example, your social security number, date of birth, income, account number and balance, account transaction history, and other financial information.  We collect nonpublic personal information from the following sources:

  • Information we receive about you in various agreements, applications, account opening documentation, and other forms and paperwork that pertains to your relationship with us,

  • Information about your transactions with us and our service providers, or others,

  • Information that you give us orally.

All financial companies need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business. We disclose nonpublic personal information to our affiliated firms and to nonaffiliated third parties (including, but not limited to, our consultants, custodians, money managers, brokers, customer relationship management and financial planning software providers) as required or permitted by law and as needed to fulfill our compliance obligations and/or for us to best provide those products and services that we have agreed to provide to you.

We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your nonpublic information.

The privacy policies and practices described in this notice will be maintained in the event you become an inactive customer or decide to close your account.

If, at any time in the future, it is necessary to disclose any of your personal information in a way that differs with this policy, we will give you advance notice of the proposed change and an opportunity to decline such disclosure.

Wealth Engagement Automatic Data Collection Policy

Wealth Engagement protects your personal information in accordance with the policies and safeguards set forth in our Privacy Policy.  This Automatic Data Collection Policy applies to the www.wealthengagement.com website and any other website or mobile applications that are owned and controlled by Wealth Engagement and/or its affiliates (the “Website”).  Like virtually every commercial website, when you interact with Wealth Engagement’s Website, we use cookies and other technologies that collect information regarding your use.  This policy explains more about the technologies that we use and your choices with respect to these technologies.

We may engage in online behavioral advertising on third-party sites (also sometimes called “retargeting” or “tracking”) through which information collected about the pages you visit on the Website is used to display ads for our products and services on third-party websites.  This information may uniquely identify a browser but is not personally identifiable.  Similarly, we may use third-party online advertising companies or websites to provide you with Wealth Engagement advertisements that may be relevant to your interests or your demographics (known as “behavioral” or “interest-based” advertising), as determined by your activity on the Website or third-party websites.  The third-party advertising company or website may use cookies to understand your interests based on your browsing activities.  You can set your web browser to accept or refuse cookies or use free browser extensions or third-party applications to manage third-party cookies.  You may also be able to reject mobile device identifiers by adjusting the settings on your mobile device.  We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve behavioral/interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. For example, you may be able to opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website, and you may be able to opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) by clicking on the “Ad Choices” icon where it appears on those ads.

Wealth Engagement Advisors Privacy Notice for California Residents

This Privacy Notice for California Residents supplements the information contained in Wealth Engagement’s Privacy Notice and applies solely to all visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). We adopt this Notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.
